The British Council Thailand is now working with more educational institutions in several provinces. There are 16 in Bangkok, 3 in Chiang Mai and 1 each in Sakhon Nakorn and Songkhla. They are appointed as authorised IELTS Registration Centres. Free admission Enquiries and reservation: 02 657 5629 Online booking: Events Calendar | | | | | YOUNG THAI SCIENCE AMBASSADOR 2009 | | Miss Chularat Duangkaew and Mr Wasin Tuchinda, two very talented secondary school students, will be representing Thailand at the International Student Summit on Darwin, which is jointly organised by the British Council and the National History Museum in London between 29 June and 3 July to celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of Charles Darwin. Chularat and Wasin were selected at the Evolution and Biodiversity camp held at the National Science and Technology Development Agency in March. At the Summit in London, they will learn about the principal ideas of evolution by way of natural selection and how these ideas are relevant to real applications in the modern world, as well as share their experience with more than 100 young scientists from the UK and other countries around the world. | | | |
